Architects often must deal with challenging planning problems. The principle of this development was to demolish an unusual house within an area of outstanding natural beauty, and replace it with a modern, wonderful, bright, white villa that would unashamedly present a brave composition within a serene and beautiful landscape.

Simply winning planning permission for this project was an outstanding achievement.
